The Academy of Information Technology (AOIT), a small learning environment, introduces students to the broad career opportunities in today's digital workforce and equips them with the personal, analytical, technical and communication skills needed for these careers. AOIT opens the door to new options, so that students may make sound choices for the future. Affiliated with and administered by the National Academy Foundation (NAF), based in New York City, this program is designed to facilitate the transition from high school to more advanced training and eventually a career in the information technology industry.

Academy students complete the following comprehensive studies during their junior and senior years:

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)

Students who complete all program requirements will receive a Certificate of Information Technology Studies in addition 
to their high school diploma.

Each Academy member is required to take two years of a foreign language. This may be done in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12.

Students must maintain a C average in all Academy classes and an overall GPA of 2.7 to continue on our Academy program.

Students will be selected for the Academy of Information Technology based on the following criteria:

: Completed Application
: Academic record
          8th Grade provide recent report card
          9th Grade provide transcript
: Teacher recommendations
: Interview by the Program Director
